Watercolor Birth Flower Portrait Details:

• This custom portrait painting is a perfect to celebrate a birthday or a love of plants

• Each portrait is hand painted using watercolors on 5”x7”, 140lb, fine art watercolor paper

• Digital copies or prints of your original painting are available upon request

The Commission Process:

• To begin the commission process you can message me via my “Say Hello!” page or email me at ellenanneschaefer@gmail.com

• We will discuss your vision for your birth flower portrait including: flower you would like for your specific month of the year (each month has 2 flowers), colors you would like for your flower (if applicable), name you would like depicted on the stem, etc.

• I will provide an approximate timeline to complete your painting (you can find my current commission timeline in the banner at the top of this page- I am typically booking out about 2-3 months in advance). If you need your art by a certain date, I will do my best to work with you!

• I will reach back out to you as soon as I am beginning your painting and again once I have finished it.  The second time I reach out, I will attach a photo of your painting.  At that point, we can make any tweaks that you think your painting may need for you to love it. (Due to the nature of watercolor, adjustments may be limited- but I will do my best!)

• Payment can be processed via this website upon completion of your custom painting. (Some clients prefer to pay at the beginning of the process- that works too. Just let me know your preference!)

• I thoughtfully package and ship you your new art!
