Mini Pen and Ink Home Portrait Details:

• This custom drawing is a beautiful way to celebrate the places where you have lived and take a little bit of those homes with you wherever you go

• Each hand drawn image is created on 5”x5” 140lb watercolor paper with archival pen ink

• Digital copies or prints of your original painting are available upon request

The Commission Process:

• To begin the commission process you can message me via my “Say Hello!” page or email me at ellenanneschaefer@gmail.com

• We will discuss your vision for your home portrait including: what reference images you would like used, city/state information for the portrait, years lived in the home for the portrait, etc.

• I will provide an approximate timeline to complete your painting (you can find my current commission timeline in the banner at the top of this page- I am typically booking out about 2-3 months in advance). If you need your art by a certain date, I will do my best to work with you!

• I will reach back out to you as soon as I am beginning your painting and again with a pencil drawn draft for your to approve. At that point, we can make any tweaks you think the drawing may need. Once you approve your draft, I will complete it in pen and send you a photo of your finished drawing. 

• Payment can be processed via this website upon completion of your custom drawing. (Some clients prefer to pay at the beginning of the process- that works too. Just let me know your preference!)

• I thoughtfully package and ship you your new art!
