About your Watercolor Portrait:

• All portraits are hand painted using watercolors on 140lb fine art watercolor paper

• I currently offer portraits of pets, homes, people & wedding venues

• Framing is available upon request

• The Commission Process:

  • To begin the commission process you can message me via my “Say Hello!” page or email me at ellenanneschaefer@gmail.com

  • We will discuss your vision for your portrait including: reference photos you would like to use, what size portrait you would like, if you would like a background in your portrait, any special items you would like included, etc.

  • I will provide you with a quote and an approximate timeline to complete your painting (you can find my current commission timeline in the banner at the top of this page- I am typically booking out about 3-6 months in advance). If you need your art by a certain date, I will do my best to work with you!

  • After I receive your $50 deposit, your spot will be reserved on my commission list.

  • I will reach back out to you as soon as I am beginning your painting. At this time we will collaborate on any sketches, samples, or mockups your painting may require.

  • I will update you again once I have finished your painting.  The second time I reach out, I will attach photos of your painting.  At that point, we can make any tweaks that you think your painting may need for you to love it. (Due to the nature of watercolor, adjustments may be limited- but I will do my best!)

  • Remaining payment (minus this $50 deposit) can be processed via this website upon completion of your custom painting.

  • I thoughtfully package and ship you your new art!
