About your Acrylic Painting on Canvas:

• All paintings are hand painted using acrylic paint on cotton canvas, stretched over a wooden frame

• Acrylic paintings are protected from dust and UV light by applying isolation coat and a satin varnish

• Paintings are finished with a wire on the back for easy hanging with framing available upon request

• The Commission Process:

  • To begin the commission process you can message me via my “Say Hello!” page or email me at ellenanneschaefer@gmail.com

  • We will discuss your vision for your portrait (i.e. reference photos you would like to use, what size portrait you would like, etc.)

  • I will provide you with a quote and an approximate timeline to complete your painting (you can find my current commission timeline in the banner at the top of this page- I am typically booking out about 3-6 months in advance). If you need your art by a certain date, I will do my best to work with you!

  • After I receive your $50 deposit, your spot will be reserved on my commission list.

  • I will reach back out to you as soon as I am beginning your painting. At this time we will collaborate on selections for sketches and color palettes.

  • I will update you again once I have finished your painting.  The second time I reach out, I will attach photos of your painting.  At that point, we can make any tweaks that you think your painting may need for you to love it.

  • Remaining payment (minus this $50 deposit) can be processed via this website upon completion of your custom painting.

  • I thoughtfully package and ship you your new art!
